There the Doctor stood. at the altar gulping down the knot in his throat that wouldn’t go away with the worries and paranoias that refused to settle down even though his best man had re-assured him that nothing can go wrong. Yet standing at that spot, waiting, anticipating to see his husband to be at the end of the small isle walk to him- it was both utter bliss and torture to the Pediatrician, he’d almost forgotten his vows in the flurry of nerves that he wasn’t aware had taken hold once more. He took a deep breath and exhaled glancing a bit with a half-hearted smile to the staff and patients that sat in the pews already, waiting with him. 

It wasn’t long when the Music had begun to play that Dr. Boss had turn to look at the  Chapel’s entrance, there he was. Everything melted away at that moment, seeing his fiance, His lover, his world with a slightly noticeable baby bump of his child stand there at the doors. It was as if he’d fallen all over again for the Clumsy nurse as he saw the younger man walk up the isle, coming closer and closer, yet never fast enough. The Doctor gave a warm smile, it had only just begun and the man had already felt joyful tears sneak up on him. Though he was able to fight them away, the best he could, holding them down. His heart beat in his chest so loud he was afraid the entire hospital could hear. Boss was dreaming, he had to be- no actually this is better than any dream, its a wish come true, and as Vee walked, stopped and stood there in front of him with a black tux that mirrored his white one. Boss couldn’t help but chuckle running his hands through his own hair with red staining his cheeks and ears, he was perfect- Vee became the only one in the room with him before he snapped back to reality looking to the priest glancing back at his husband to be.

A small nod was given to his best man as the music started. Vee gripped Knives’ arm a bit tighter when he saw Boss at the alter. His chest fluttered as if a million butterflies were trapped inside. He had been waiting for this moment ever since he had come to Neinescape and met the handsome doctor. Brown eyes never left the pediatrician. The smile on his lips grew, it having been just too long before he saw his lover as a full man. He was excited to say the absolute least.

His smile calmed into a glowing one when he took Boss’ hands in from of the father, God, and all of the hospital. Vee had wanted to kiss Boss right then and there, but he had to wait. It killed him to wait, but he had to. Instead he squeezed Boss’ hands lovingly, doing his best to keep from tearing up after seeing Boss tear up.
